Frequently Asked

How do I learn the rules?
Tap the How to Play button in the top bar from the home screen. It walks through everything — setup, turn structure, suit powers, defending, jokers, and solo medals.
Can I play offline?
Yes — entirely. Solo, Pass & Play, and Multi-device all work with no internet connection. Multi-device uses Apple's peer-to-peer mesh networking, so your iPhones and iPads connect to each other directly without needing a shared Wi-Fi network or a router.
My friend's device isn't showing up when I try to join.
Make sure both devices have Crownfall's Local Network permission enabled (Settings → Crownfall → Local Network) and that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are turned on — iOS uses both radios for peer discovery, even if you're not on any network. The two devices need to be physically close (roughly within the same room or floor). No router or shared Wi-Fi network is required.
How do I earn a gold medal in solo?
Win without using either of the two solo refill abilities. Silver = one refill used. Bronze = both refills used.
Where are my saved games?
Tap Past on the home screen. In-progress games and completed games both live there; completed games show your final outcome.
Will my stats reset if I clear my game history?
No. Lifetime stats are stored separately from individual game saves. Clearing recents only removes the per-game state files.
I found a bug.
Please email me with a short description — and if you can, your iOS version and device model. Screenshots help a lot.

Privacy

Crownfall does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. All game data — saved games, lifetime stats, preferences — lives only on your device.

Multi-device play uses Apple's peer-to-peer networking (Bonjour discovery and the Network framework over AWDL) to connect directly between nearby iPhones and iPads. No router, internet, or shared Wi-Fi network is involved — and no game data passes through any server we operate.
